at&t research, people and machines, is relocating in stages over the next few weeks
this includes machines that support mail and www
those machines have top priority so external downtime should be minimal

anyway, email and list contact may be more sporadic than usual from the at&t side

Are there plans to release a new ast-ksh alpha when the machines are up again?

yes, with some of the yearned for patches included
currently addressing ast multibyte shift state problems in a general way
that will be included in the next alpha too

We should have a theme song for each release. Next one goes like 'Oh
libcmd, la la libcmd, la la, where are the upupupdates, with read read
link, grep pc re, faster, and a tr a tr a la, ls, with a rune rune
test, la li la la la la'.
