On Solaris 11/B145/AMD64/64bit I am getting the following failures in
io.sh... but only when running the tests through "shcomp" first:

Any idea what may cause that issue ?

This problem still occurs in ast-ksh.2013-12-06 ... but again only for
the "shcomp" test run...
